Bonding

Bonding is procedure to repair teeth that have small areas of discoloration, decay, fractures or are out of their normal position.  Bonded fillings are tooth colored restorations made of resin and can be an alternative to veneers and orthodontic braces (in some cases).  The bonding procedure can often be completed in a single office visit as the resin is bonded directly to the tooth itself.  These restorations greatly improve the appearance of teeth as well as restore their proper function.  Resin restorations tend to not be as long lasting as crowns or veneers due to the material they are fabricated from.
